General Informations
The Wa'Drán Chronicles − Metamorphosis
is no common science-fiction story. Beside the usual
topics of the science-fiction genre (fictitious technologies, fictitious
scientific theories, strange worlds, probably space travels) also
elements of Fantasy are involved. I've tried eagerly to combine those
mentioned elements harmoniously and so telling a story which seems to be
realistic for the reader.

Wolf Wilson was a normal boy, son of a factory owner in Kansas City,
enjoying the common privileges for a boy of his social class in a
protected atmosphere of his family until an impact on Wolf's life
was perpetrated in the Penn-Valley-Park. This impact was the beginning
of a series of occasions which result in major changes in the
Wilson's life. More and more Wolf became suspicious against humans
while he developed an increasing affinity for wolves and werewolves,
because he was convinced that he was rescued by a werewolf in the
Penn-Valley-Park. Since this impact in the Penn-Valley-Park, the part of
the town where the Wilson's lived, was overwhelmed by a series of
terrible murders. Pretty fast rumours came up that the Wilson's
anyhow are involved in these murders, and would be in contact with the
evil because Wolf has been watched very often while howling into the
night. And his howling was not unanswered. The Wilson's moved often
and the murders moved with them. More and more the Wilson's were
excluded from social life and faced with economic ruin. Wolf's
father could only see one solution. A final cut, a new start for a
completely new and different life. In the opinion of Wolf's father
the emigration into the virgin wilderness of the Rocky Mountains seemed
to be perfect for that. Since only a completely new life, absolutely
different from the previous one, could release them from the load of the
incidences and start a renewal of their life. The decision of his father
meant for the 7-years-old Wolf Wilson an utterly change of his life
which he, however, was very fond of. Of course, because which little boy
didn't know the stories of Huckleberry Finn or from the man in the
mountains (Grizzly Adams) wishing to be also free and able to live a
light-hearted life without any social restrictions. With best intentions
they settled down in the deepest forest of the state of Washington.
After some start-up difficulties and organisation problems, including
the continuation of Wolf's school's education, the family, nevertheless,
got accustomed and learnt to take care for their own needs in the
wilderness. But after Wolf's bungled try to answer to the wolves
howling, the family-happiness of the Wilson's should be entirely
destroyed. At this day a mysterious creature of the species Canis Lupus
appeared; was it really of this species? This meeting, however, started
a very dark chapter for the Wilson family, a chapter, in which Wolf was
all of a sudden, for unexplainable reasons, the target for an execution
and his father died while trying to put some light into the darkness of
those obscure incidents. With the disappearance of the mysterious wolf
the danger of Wolf's execution seemed to be eliminated and all those
subtle occurrences should have come to an end. But Wolf couldn't have
any clue how much this incidents would determine his further life. Or
could it probably be that all these previous occurrences could only be
indicated by a pre-determined path-through-life ? Wolf's understanding
was much too immature to realize the deep complications, that he had
become a victim of mortal incidents, which finally were the reason for
his family's misery. He had no idea about temporal paradoxes. He only
felt the claw of death, cold as ice, in his neck. But his entire life
should be completely changed when some months later he got into the
claws of an animal similar to a wolf, but according to his shape more
likely a creature of hell. The monstrous wolf told him that he had been
\u2013 like himself \u2013 determined to die because he had been
attacked by creatures who interpreted his defence as a co-operation
against them. Therefore their intention is to massacre him relentlessly.
Since Wolf knew that he alone wouldn't have a trace of a chance to
escape from those enemy creatures, who stroke this creature of hell so
devastating, he decided to help this animal what at least lead to the
necessity of his emigration. Because next morning he learnt that during
the night there were several attacks to murder him which this tremendous
wolf could defeat. The decision was made, Wolf hat to leave this planet.
Also Wolf has already been informed with this creature he got in contact
with extraterrestrial life and so directly involved in an interstellar
conflict. Under a great time pressure and continuous danger to be
attacked by those soldiers again they went to the hidden space ship of
the strange entity to leave as fast as possible this solar system. Wolf
has been informed that they would only be secure not to be attacked
again by reaching the native planet of the Crond'Llor.
Furthermore he
learnt that the separation from his family would have to last for a
very, very long time because the N'Orchtmarr knew his identity already
and he had been determined as an enemy of the n'orchtmarrical empire.
From now on Wolf had to obey absolutely strange principles of an entire
unknown culture and to learn to get familiar with their kind of thinking
which was extremely difficult for him. Some rules and rites seemed to be
horrible for his human eyes. Furthermore he had to realize that his
organism was not conceived for living in the rugged area of this planet
and so he was entirely reliant on the protection of these wild animals.
But emotional problems were not the only ones, which occurred. There was
also a problem of nutrition due to the great differences between the two
kinds of organism. And above all frightening physical and psychical
changes overtook the boy ...
